WOOLMARKET, MS (WLOX) - It's cleanup day at T&E Lumber and Building Supply in Woolmarket. Thursday's sudden flooding hit the business hard, scattering lumber and doors throughout the property and dumping five feet of floodwater inside the business.

"We will overcome this somehow," said owner Jim Firth, as he and fellow family members and employees were cleaning up the soggy mess.

Firth blames an overloaded drain culvert next to the business for the flash flooding. He said the drain was too small to handle the amount of water that rushed through the area.

"I've complained about it before," said Firth. "They sent someone to check it who said it's fine. Evidently it's not."
