CALHOUN COUNTY, AL (WBRC) -

The damage inflicted by the April 27th tornadoes lives on in an unusual way in Calhoun County.

The wedding chapel barn at Windsong Plantation in Wellington, is made entirely from trees knocked down by the tornado.

The trees stayed on the ground for nearly a year before property owners Bobby and Ginger Watkins decided to make it into a wedding chapel.

The couple says every bit of the oak and hickory that make up the chapel was somehow touched by a tornado.

They say it's become a symbol of rebirth and renewal as couples from across the country now hold weddings there just about every weekend.
