According to AAA, annual miles traveled and therefore gasoline consumed could reach an all-time high in 2016. And why not consider hitting the road for a vacation? Barring unforeseen circumstances, prices at the pump for summertime driving will be the lowest in more than a decade.
Not long ago gasoline was approaching $4 a gallon. Now $20 will get you twice as far.
We hope you all can take advantage of the lower gas prices and go on vacation, whether just down the road or across the country. But remember, lower prices mean more traffic, so everyone needs to be more careful and more patient on the roads. We want you all back here recharged and safe at the end of the summer season.
