The Crawfish Music Festival wrapped up Sunday after two consecutive weekends of great weather and good food.
Those who caught the tail end of the festival seemed pleased with the offerings.
"I just like to get the kids out, and have some fun. Sunday fun day. Just the family-friendly fun and some crawfish. We love crawfish," said Shanekwa Parker.
With so many things to do at the festival, there was a little something for everyone regardless of age.
"It's just so much fun, and you get to have the greatest time of your life," said Jeffery Smith.
Even though it's a music festival, the entertainment is also geared toward families. One parent admits that after admission, food, and wristbands to ride the attractions, things can get pricey.
"Yea, it's pretty expensive. The price has gone up since last year and, I don't know, it's pretty expensive," said Dain Werner.
But, many didn't seem to mind the cost of the festival; now in its 24th year and still going strong. Between food offerings, rides and musical entertainment, organizers try to offer something new to the public each year.
"I like to go to it just to hang out with my friends, and go on the rides and have fun," said Baleigh Armstrong.
Organizers don't yet know how many people attended during the two-weekend event, but say good weather brought out far more people than the previous year's rainy weekends.
