BILOXI, MS (WLOX) -

Sunday afternoon at MGM Park, the Biloxi Shuckers hosted the Pensacola Blue Wahoos.

But it was also a chance for fans to buy raffle tickets to support the Deanna Favre Breast Cancer Fund at Memorial Hospital.

A lot of fans wore their favorite pink apparel and Brett Favre jerseys.

Brett's wife Deanna completed her treatment for breast cancer in 2005 and wanted to help other families who might not have the funds for proper care.

"She asked herself, how do normal families afford this? We're blessed, we can afford it. A lot of other families could not. We need to do something. That was the birth really of the Favre 4 Hope Foundation at Memorial Hospital," said Memorial Hospital Foundation president, Dave Estorge. "In turn we've been able to help 100 families who were in need of assistance with co-pays and deductibles related to their treatments at Memorial so it's been great."

As for the game, Pensacola scored four times in the 9th inning to defeat the Shuckers, 5-0. It was Biloxi's first shutout loss of the season.
