JACKSON COUNTY, MS (WLOX) -

Jackson County investigators are hoping a motel surveillance picture will lead them to a pair of suspected kidnappers and rapists. The men are suspected of
snatching a woman off a street in Houston, TX, on April 7 and driving her to the Super 8 Motel in St. Martin.

Wednesday, investigators released a picture of a white Nissan Xterra taken outside the motel.

Capt. Chris Stratton, with the Jackson County Sheriff's Department, said the victim told investigators two men kidnapped her at gunpoint Thursday. After the six hour drive, Stratton said the suspects stopped at the motel off Interstate 10 at exit 50.

Early Friday morning, Stratton said the woman got out of the room and made it to the motel lobby where a worker dialed 911 for help. When deputies arrived, the suspects were gone.

The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment then released and taken to an area women's shelter until she could return to her family.

Jackson County investigators are working with Houston police to track possible suspects. Anyone with information about the suspects should call the Jackson County Sheriff's Department at 228-769-3063.
