WAVELAND, MS (WLOX) - The man accused in a Waveland Barber College shooting will be back on Mississippi soil in about a week and a half, according to Waveland Police Chief David Allen.
Lief Dasco was captured in Las Vegas, NV, last week after being on the run for more than two months.
Allen said Dasco was charged in a violent shooting in the parking lot of a Hwy. 90 Barber College in January that resulted in a man hospitalized with two gunshot wounds. Dasco was also charged with shooting into an occupied building.
Allen said Dasco has waved an extradition hearing in Nevada, which clears the way for his return to Mississippi, and his department has hired a transport company to bring Dasco back to the Magnolia State.
