PASCAGOULA, MS (WLOX) -

Two suspects involved in a home invasion in Pascagoula were stabbed inside an apartment Tuesday morning. Lt. Doug Adams, with the Pascagoula Police Department, said one of the suspects is dead and the other is still in the hospital.

Adams said the two suspects reportedly broke into an apartment at the Pine Tree Apartments on Hospital Rd. around 11:30 a.m. Both suspects were stabbed while they were inside the apartment, according to investigators.

Adams said a male suspect died at Singing River Hospital about 30 minutes after the reported home invasion.

Investigators are interviewing the person who was inside the apartment and other potential witnesses to piece this case together. Police officers are still at the apartment complex.
