MISSISSIPPI (WLOX) -

More money will soon be coming to community colleges across Mississippi.

On Monday, Governor Phil Bryant signed a bill to set up a new workforce training fund. The money will be used to train students for jobs connected to current and future businesses.

Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College President Dr. Mary Graham says the amount of money schools receive depends on the needs of the industries.

The law sets aside $10 million starting in 2016, and $5 million for each following year.
