JACKSON COUNTY, MS (WLOX) - It's an event that generates millions of dollars a year in revenue for Jackson County. The 27th annual Jackson County Industrial Trade Show is underway at the Civic Center in Pascagoula.
More than 120 vendors from the coast, across the nation and even from around the world have set up booths. This year's trade show is expected to draw more than 2,500 people.
The event is sponsored each year by the Jackson County Chamber of Commerce. The vendors say it's a great way to network and meet future customers.
Meanwhile, the customers say it's a unique way to mingle with the presidents and CEOs of so many companies all in one location.
The booths are varied and deal with many facets of the business and industrial world, including workplace safety, communications and education.
Doug Walker is covering the trade show. Watch for his story later this evening on WLOX News Now and on WLOX.com.
