MDOC looking for Gulfport woman

GULFPORT, MS (WLOX) -

The Mississippi Department of Corrections is looking for a Gulfport woman who reportedly violated her house arrest conditions Friday by removing her tracking device.

According to the MDOC Facebook page, Tiffany Skaggs was convicted of possession of a controlled substance in Stone County in January. She was sentenced to two years of house arrest and three years of probation.

The MDOC said Skaggs removed her tracking device around 8 a.m., and her last known location was at her home in Gulfport.

    Surveillance cameras captured someone opening fire at a gas station in Jasper. Police are looking for one of the people they said opened fire on Friday night, while the other is still in a hospital.
