HARRISON COUNTY, MS (WLOX) - Two Harrison County sisters are accused of accepting workers compensation benefits for their deceased father.

Detria Vogle of Biloxi and Rachel Vogle of Gulfport are both charged with four counts of workers compensation fraud. They were arrested after both women were indicted by the Harrison County Grand Jury.

Mississippi Attorney General Jim Hood says the Vogle sisters never notified the Mississippi Insurance Guaranty Association that their father had passed away. Hood says the Vogles continued to receive workers comp benefits that were intended for their deceased father between August 2011 and December 2014.

Each sister could face up to 12 years in prison if convicted.
