The strong work ethic of the employees of Ingalls Shipyard in Pascagoula is gaining praise from the Navy high command in Washington. Admiral John H. Richardson, Chief of Naval Operations called the work magnificent.
The solid performance of the workers and the ships they turn out, appears to be leading to more Navy dependence on the Pascagoula ship builders saying these are the types of ships we desperately need.
Ingalls builds amphibious dock landing ships. The Navy wants to move forward with a new class of the amphibious warships using the same hull. That's good news for Ingalls and its thousands of employees because it promises steady and ongoing work.
We applaud you all for your dedication to very important work to help protect our country. That's our opinion, we would like to hear yours. Email your thoughts to email@example.com.
