GULFPORT, MS (WLOX) -

It's that time of year again, when college spring breakers flock to South Mississippi to do more work than play.

A group of 50 students from Ohio State University is spending the week volunteering in Biloxi and Gulfport. The students are cleaning up the Clower Thorton Nature Area, rebuilding a playground and helping out at the Humane Society of South Mississippi.

The students say even though it's been more than ten years since Hurricane Katrina, they still want to help with the area's recovery.
