PINE BELT (WDAM) -

Severe weather and heavy rains continue to cover the Pine Belt area into Friday morning. 

Tylertown is seeing flooding, as well as all low-lying areas of Glendale, especially around Anita Drive.

The National Weather Service has Flash Flood warnings for Jones and Jasper counties until 9:30 a.m. Multiple homes have already been evacuated and a bridge was washed out on Iris Drive in Laurel. In Jasper County, Highway 528 is flooded at Tallahattah Creek. Three to seven inches of rain have already fallen across this area, with additional amounts of two to four inches possible.

A Flash Flood warning has also been issued for Perry and Stone counties until 10:30 a.m. The National Weather Services reports up to two to three inches of rain have already fallen with additional rainfall of two to three inches possible.

Officials advise residents in the Pine Belt to stay off the roads and use caution.
