JACKSON COUNTY, MS (WLOX) -

A Jackson County appeals court has ruled that a Pascagoula man convicted of murder should spend the rest of his life in prison.

The court upheld the sentence of Adrian Moore.

He was convicted of shooting Alfred Durden and his brother, Hardy Parker, back in 2013.

Durden survived, but Parker died from his injuries.

Following his conviction, Moore appealed, claiming that the judge pressured jurors to change their decision after the jury was deadlocked.

But the appeals court found no evidence of that, and upheld Moore's conviction and life sentence.
