Family offers $10K for information leading to missing man

KILN, MS (WLOX) - The family of Brody "BJ" Brown is now offering $10,000 to anyone with information that could lead to him being found. Brown, 31, was last seen at a concert at Muddy Joe's campground in the Kiln on Saturday night.

According to Brown's wife, he was last seen around 9 p.m. when he told the group he was with he was leaving to go to the restroom.

Investigators were able to get a ping off Brown's cell phone, but he has not been found yet.

Authorities with the Hancock County Sheriff's Department and the Department of Marine Resources Marine Patrol searched through the day Sunday, and expanded the search to cover 400 acres on Monday.

Rescue dogs, dozens of ATV riders and mounted patrols have joined in the search efforts.

Hancock County Sheriff's Chief Deputy Don Bass said investigators do not believe foul play is a factor.

Sen. Sean Tindell, Brown's first cousin, told WLOX News Now that the family is hoping for the best.
