HARRISON COUNTY, MS (WLOX) -

Harrison County Coroner Gary Hargrove has identified the woman who was killed in a two-vehicle wreck on Landon Rd. near Wolf River Rd. on Monday morning.

Debra Dean, 53, of Pass Christian, was killed in the crash, according to Hargrove. A juvenile was also injured in the wreck.

Harrison County Fire Chief Pat Sullivan said the call came in around 7:42 a.m. First responders arrived at the scene to find two cars in the ditch on opposite sides of the two-lane road.

Sullivan said Dean died at the scene, and the other driver, a juvenile, had to be extricated and taken to Gulfport Memorial Hospital. We have no information on the juvenile’s condition at this time.

Investigators are still trying to determine what led to the fatal crash.
