HANCOCK COUNTY, MS (WLOX) - Dozens of all-terrain riders in Hancock County assisted in the search for a missing man on Sunday.

According to officials, 31-year-old Brody "BJ" Brown disappeared from Muddy Joe's sometime Saturday night during an event.

According to BJ'S wife, Jenny Brown, he was last seen on the property around 9 p.m. when he told their group he was leaving to go to the restroom.

Senator Sean Tindell, Brown's first cousin, told WLOX News Now that the family is hoping for the best.

Hancock County Sheriff Chief Deputy Don Bass says the sheriff's department is actively searching for Brown, and they do not believe foul play is a factor.

Family members say rescue dogs are on the scene.

Additional details regarding Brown's disappearance are limited at this time, though officials say they were able to get a ping off of Brown's cell phone. The search is expected to continue on Monday.
