BILOXI, MS (WLOX) - Two people were arrested this week after police report they tried to sell stolen Magic playing cards to a business in Biloxi.
Investigators said the cards, worth several thousand dollars, were stolen from a vehicle on January 30. Just hours later, police said Jarred Reynolds, 31, and Brookelynn Kelso, 22, tried to sell those cards.
"The store owner, who was familiar with the burglary incident along with the description of the cards and binders they were contained in, contacted the Biloxi Police," said Investigator Nick Sonnier.
That information helped detectives identify the suspects. The duo was arrested on Thursday.
Reynolds is charged with auto burglary. Kelso was arrested on charges of receiving/possessing stolen property. Both were taken to the Harrison County Adult Detention Center.
