BILOXI, MS (WLOX) - It has been a breezy start for Wednesday across South Mississippi with some areas seeing gusts near 40 mph.
As we move through the rest of Wednesday, the breezy conditions continue as the area of low pressure that brought all of the storms on Tuesday, moves off to the northeast.
Winds this afternoon will stay around 15-25 mph, only calming tonight to between 10-15 mph.
It will be fairly breezy over the next few days, but Wednesday will be the breeziest with a wind advisory in effect for George County and Stone County until 6 p.m.
Other advisories and warnings in effect through Wednesday evening also include a small craft advisory for the Mississippi Sound and a gale warning for offshore areas.
