UPDATED: More school districts announce early dismissal today

SOUTH MISSISSIPPI (WLOX) - Several South Mississippi school districts will be dismissing students early because of severe weather threats.

Here's a list of the districts and closure times:

-Biloxi School District: All schools will be dismissed two hours early.

-Bay-Waveland School District:
      Bay High School & Cross Roads Learning Center will be dismissed at 11:55 a.m.
      Bay-Waveland Middle School will be dismissed at 12 p.m.
      North Bay Elementary School will be dismissed at 12:15 p.m.
      Waveland Elementary School will be dismissed at 12:35 p.m.

-Gulfport School District: 
    Elementary schools dismissed at 12:30 p.m.
    Middle schools dismissed at 1 p.m.
    High school dismissed at 1:30 p.m.

-All George County schools will be dismissed at 1:00 p.m.

-All Greene County schools will be dismissed at 12:30 p.m.

-Hancock County School District:
    Elementary schools will be dismissed at 11:30 a.m.
    Middle Schools will be dismissed at 12:15 p.m.
    High Schools will be dismissed at 12:30 p.m.

-All schools in the Harrison County School District will be dismissing students two hours early.

-All schools in the Jackson County School District will be dismissing students two hours early.

-Long Beach School District:
    McCaughan Elementary will be dismissed at 11:30 a.m.
    Long Beach Middle and High School will be dismissed at 12:15 p.m.
    Reeves Elementary and Quarles Elementary will be dismissed at 12:45 p.m.

-All Lumberton schools will be dismissed at 12:00 p.m.

-Ocean Springs School District:
    Preschool will be dismissed at 12:00 p.m.
    Oak Park, Magnolia Park, Pecan Park-1:40 p.m.
    Upper Elementary-1:25 p.m.
    OS Middle School-2:35 p.m.
    OS High School-2:51 p.m.
    Elizabeth Keys Center-2:18 p.m.

-All schools in the Poplarville School District will be dismissed at 1:00 p.m.

-Pascagoula Gautier School District will dismiss students 30 minutes early: 
    All Pascagoula Gautier elementary school students will go home at 2:15.  
    Academy schools dismiss at 2:30.  
    7th and 8th grade schools go home at 3:00.  
    High school dismisses students at 3:00.

-Pass Christian School District: 
    DeLisle Elementary will dismiss at 11:45 a.m.
    Pass Elementary will dismiss at noon.
    Pass Middle will dismiss at 12:15
    Pass High will dismiss at 12:30

-Pearl River County School District:
    Kindergarten through 5th grade classes will be released at 11:45 a.m.
    The middle school, high school and endeavor campus will be dismissed at 12:30 p.m.

-Pearl River Community College will close at 12 p.m.

-Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College will close at 1 p.m.

-Tulane University, MS Coast campus, closing at noon.

-University of Southern Mississippi (all campuses) closing at noon

-Virginia College Biloxi will be closed as of 12:30 p.m

-Blue Cliff College, Gulfport, closing at 2 p.m.

-Stone County Schools will close at 12:45 p.m.

-St. Patrick Catholic High School will be dismissed at 1:30 p.m.

-St. James Catholic Elementary School will be dismissed at 12:30 p.m.

-St. Alphonsus Catholic School, Ocean Springs, dismissing at 2 p.m.

-Sacred Heart Catholic School will be dismissed at 1 p.m.

-Our Lady of Fatima Biloxi will dismiss at 12:30 p.m.

-Our Lady Academy, Bay St. Louis, will dismiss at 1:30 p.m.

-Holy Trinity Catholic School will be dismissed at 11:30 a.m.

-Hope Academy, Gulfport, dismissing at 1 p.m.

-Christian Collegiate Academy and Daycare in Gulfport will be dismissed at 1:00 p.m.

-Cedar Lake Christian Academy in Biloxi will be dismissed at 12 p.m.

-Coast Episcopal School in Long Beach will be dismissed at 12 p.m.

-Full Life Christian Academy in Hurley will be dismissed at 11:30 a.m.

-Gulfport Academy Preschool and Daycare will close at 2:30 p.m.

According to WLOX Meteorologist Andrew Wilson, this afternoon and evening we will have some stronger storms move through South Mississippi with a very likely chance of some of them being severe. Our main risk for severe weather will occur between 5 p.m. and 11 p.m. The main risk with our storms will be damaging winds, large hail, and a few tornadoes.
