EUREKA, Mo. (KMOV.com) – A restaurant in Eureka did not let the winter flooding run them out of business.

For seven weeks Joe Boccardi’s has been serving a limited menu while they work to rebuild their restaurant. From 11 a.m. until 10 p.m. employees are at the tent serving pizzas, salads and appetizers.

The Boccardi’s told News 4 they stayed open not only for their customers, but their employees as well since it is expected to take about three months to rebuild the restaurant.

“People have sent in monetary donations to the rebuilt effort to help the employees, volunteers helping the cleanup process and everything since day one of the flood it’s been overwhelming the support we’ve had from the community it’s been great,” said Mario Boccardi, co-owner of the restaurant.

The owners said they plan to reopen in April.
