PASS CHRISTIAN, MS (WLOX) - Pass Christian police have made another arrest connected to a shooting that killed two men and injured four other people after the St. Paul Carnival Association parade.
Chief Tim Hendricks said Sharon Johnson, 51, is charged with hindering prosecution. Her bond was set at $20,000.
According to Hendricks, the charges were developed through leads as part of the investigation into the shooting.
Harrison County Sheriff Troy Peterson said Johnson removed and disposed of evidence from Memorial Hospital in Gulfport the day of the shooting. That hospital is where the shooting victims were being treated.
Peterson the evidence Johnson disposed of was pertinent to the ongoing shooting investigation.
Investigators made seven arrests related to the parade shooting Saturday, although no one has been charged with killing Carlos Bates, 29, and Isaiah Major III, 43.
Hendricks said police were also able to recover six guns, at least three of which are confirmed stolen.
Hendricks hopes the recent arrests will eventually lead to suspects in the parade shooting.
