JACKSON COUNTY, MS (WLOX) - "I get up each day, take a deep breath, and keep pushing on," says Tina Cook of Saucier.

It has been an agonizing almost four months since her husband, Dexter Brewer, went missing when a small plane went down in the Mississippi Sound in Jackson County. The plane wreckage and three victims have not yet been recovered, despite exhaustive search efforts by the DMR, the Coast Guard, Jackson County Sheriff's Department and Texas Equsearch.

Two celebration of life services will be held Saturday to remember and honor the life of Dexter Brewer.

"It was time," says Tina Cook, to hold such a remembrance service for family and friends.

The man she married, nicknamed Debo, was a family man, an avid outdoorsman and a big Mississippi State fan.

"I miss him and wish he were here beside me," says Cook.

She will never forget her husband's big smile, his love for family and his compassion toward others. Though search efforts have dwindled over the months, she intends to push on.

"We'll buy a sonar and a boat ourselves if we have to," says Cook, emphasizing just how important it is to have that bit of final closure; knowing for certain he's gone.
