Howell previously served as programs coordinator since September 2014, leading the creation of The Mary C programming, such as Transformation Theatre, the Teen Arts Council, and The Underground Theatre.

According to the Mary C., Howell plans to create an experience for everyone who comes to the arts center.

"We are special because we have professionals in a variety of art forms, including visual arts, performing arts, culinary arts, and more," she said in a press release. "And by finding themes of tying these art forms together it creates unforgettable experiences."
