OCEAN SPRINGS, MS (WLOX) - A Jackson County man is facing cyberstalking charges for allegedly threatening the pastor, staff and parishioners of an Ocean Springs church.
Sheriff Mike Ezell said the investigation was launched late last month after the church reported receiving threats through electronic communications, which also included racial slurs, to authorities.
Ezell said Vincent Salvador Drummond, 55, was arrested at his home on Plymouth Road without incident on Wednesday.
If convicted of cyberstalking, Drummond could face up to five years in prison and a $10,000 fine. Drummond is being held at the Jackson County Adult Detention Center awaiting his initial court appearance.
