BILOXI, MS (WLOX) -

Dense fog and a downed light pole created some tense moments for drivers this morning in Biloxi near the intersection of Walmart Lane and Highway 90.

A WLOX News Now reporter driving through the area said IHOP employees and customers were flagging down motorists to warn them about the downed pole laying across the highway.

Biloxi police showed up to remove the pole from the road around 9:30 a.m.

The truck that hit the pole continued driving down Highway 90 for a few blocks before stopping. First responders treated the driver for injuries.
