A Jackson County man heard a shocking recording on the phone when he tried to find out if he had to report for jury duty Monday morning.

Mike Coleman said he received a jury summons early last week and had to call several numbers on the letter by a certain time. Failure to show up for jury duty could mean a fine and/or jail time.

Coleman said he quickly hung up and called WLOX to get the correct numbers.
