BILOXI, MS (WLOX) - Rough roads and detours will continue to cause a headache for drivers in East Biloxi.
A proposal to provide some "emergency paving" on some of those roads, was removed from Tuesday's Biloxi city council meeting.
Many of the roadways are torn up for the ongoing and massive infrastructure improvement project. Business owners have complained to the city that the torn up roads are difficult for customers to reach their businesses and that it is hurting their sales.
The $355 million infrastructure improvement project in East Biloxi is a three year program that will continue through 2017.
There is no word yet on when council members are expected to revisit the topic.
