I-10 traffic stop leads to drug bust in Harrison Co.

HARRISON COUNTY, MS (WLOX) - A traffic stop on Interstate 10 led to a drug bust for a Harrison County Sheriff's deputy late Saturday night.

Sheriff Troy Peterson said Deputy David Oliver stopped a Dodge Charger driven by 32-year-old Pamela Guerrero, of Prairieville, LA, just before 11 p.m. near mile marker 21.

Peterson said a search of the vehicle turned up cocaine and other illegal narcotics.

Guerrero is charged with felony possession of cocaine and possession of Schedule II narcotics. She was taken to the Harrison County Adult Detention Center where her bond was set at $10,000.
