Former Golden Eagle on His Way to the NFL

Cedric Scott got the call Sunday that he was the 114th pick overall by the Giants in the 4th round. Cedric was a little disappointed his phone didn't ring during the first three rounds on Saturday. But he plans to make other teams regret not picking him earlier.

Cedric compiled 26 sacks while at Southern and he feels that his size, which is six foot five inches tall, and quickness will allow him to fit into the Giants program.

Cedric told WLOX yesterday that, "He'll need to adjust to the fast pace ways of the NFL."  He admits he's not ready yet but when the time comes he says, "I'll be Ready.

Cedric was one of eleven players to get drafted to come from a school in Mississippi.
