BILOXI, MS (WLOX) -

Hundreds are playing the card game Bridge this week at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum and Convention Center in Biloxi. Lynne Logan has been organizing the Biloxi Regional Contract Bridge Tournament for years. She describes the game as intellectual, exciting, and unpredictable.

"If you ask the pros, there's four people sitting around and say, 'What would you do with this hand?' You'll probably get four different answers," said Logan.

Players travel all over to compete in tournaments like this one. Sylvia Kitziger is from New Orleans. She keeps playing to get more points, which leads to a distinguished honor.

"We want to have it in our obituary that we're a life master," said Kitziger. "Once you get one life master, you can then go further and be a bronze master, which I've got. And then you can keep going and get platinum masters. So, they've got us hooked. We're in this for the long haul."

If you'd like to play, there are spots open for all levels of experience. The tournament continues through Sunday. For ACBL members, the entry fee is $12 per session, or $16 for non-members.
