BILOXI, MS (WLOX) -

Hundreds of volunteers gathered at the Biloxi National Cemetery Saturday morning to collect wreaths placed on the headstones at Christmas.

According to volunteer group Crusaders For Veterans, there were nearly 10,000 wreaths to collect at the cemetery.

Despite the wet weather, volunteers arrived early and even received free appetizers from Gilly's in Gulfport for their help.

The Crusaders plan to make the following year even bigger.
