Denzel Nkemdiche has been hospitalized again

JACKSON, MS (WLOX) -

What is going on?

For the second time in two months, former Ole Miss linebacker Denzel Nkemdiche has been hospitalized.  NFL Network reporter Ian Rapoport confirmed the report.  He was hospitalized last month in Oxford and spent a few days in intensive care.  The media was never given a reason on why he was in the hospital.

In the latest development, the Ridgeland Police Department confirmed that officers were called to a home at 711 Lake Harbor Drive.  That's where they found an unresponsive male.  Ridgeland Police Chief John Neal didn't release the man's name, but did say an ambulance and the Fire Department were called and the man was taken to the University of Mississippi Medical Center.

Just last week Denzel's brother, Robert, was charged with marijuana possession after he broke through a window at an Atlanta Hotel and fell 15-feet onto a concrete driveway.

On Sunday Ole Miss coach Hugh Freeze announced that Robert Nkemdiche, an All-American defensive lineman. would not play in the Sugar Bowl on January 1 against Oklahoma State.

Nkemdiche said on Sunday that he would enter the NFL Draft.
