BILOXI, MS (WLOX) -

Fog will make the morning commute quite difficult today for much of South Mississippi.  The National Weather Service has issued a dense fog advisory until 10:00 a.m. The fog blankets the three coastal counties, as well as Pearl River, Clarke, Forrest, Jasper, Jones, and Lamar. Visibility in those areas is down to less than a quarter mile.

The dense fog advisory in Stone and George Counties lasts until 9:00 a.m.

If you must drive this morning, police remind you to use your windshield wipers to increase your visibility and reduce glare from oncoming vehicles. If your vehicle is equipped with daytime running lights, you may need to manually turn on your headlights, so your tail lights will also be illuminated.
