Three accused of stealing Christmas gifts from OS home

OCEAN SPRINGS, MS (WLOX) -

The holiday season is supposed to be about giving, but three alleged burglars are accused of stealing Christmas presents from a home in Ocean Springs.

Capt. William Jackson, with the Ocean Springs Police Department, said officers responded to the reported burglary at a home in the 2000 block of Bienville Boulevard on Friday.

Tanner Schaefer, 20, Dakota Cheyene Ross, 18, and Lisa Marie Ross, 38, are accused of breaking into the house through a window and stealing Christmas presents and other items.

All three suspects were arrested after a short investigation and charged with residential burglary. They were booked into the Ocean Springs Jail without bond pending initial court appearances.

Jackson tells us police were able to recover some of the stolen gifts.
