HARRISON COUNTY, MS (WLOX) -

A registered sex offender with two prior convictions of molestation is behind bars once again.

On Nov. 18, Harrison County sheriff's deputies arrested and charged 39-year-old George Joseph Ramp Jr. with six felony counts of possession of child pornography.

When the Harrison County Sheriff's Office and the Gulf Coast Cyber Crimes Task Force searched Ramp's electronic devices, they identified three local, juvenile victims; one residing in Jackson County. Ramp was then charged with an additional two counts of touching a child for lustful purposes.

Ramp was taken into custody at the Harrison County Adult Detention Center under a combined total $300,000 bond.

Further charges are expected.

Anyone with any information regarding the cases is asked to contact the Harrison County Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigations Division, or the Mississippi Coast Crime Stoppers.
