WAVELAND, MS (WLOX) -

Waveland police have released surveillance footage they hope could lead to a break in the murder case of Jason Duffy.

According to Police Chief David Allen, Duffy was found shot in the head several times at his Dicks Street home early Sunday morning. He was transported to Memorial Hospital in Gulfport where he later died.

On Tuesday, investigators told us they believe Duffy, 42, was targeted and the shooting may have been drug related. Wednesday, Allen released two surveillance video clips from that fateful night.

According to Allen, the first video shows two individuals walking toward Duffy’s home around 3:36 a.m., about 30 minutes before the murder. The second video shows the same individuals running from the scene just minutes after the fatal shots were fired.

Allen said more videos could be released as the investigation moves forward.

If you have any information that could help investigators crack this case, please contact Waveland police at 228-467-3669 or Crime Stoppers at 1-877-787-5898.
