OCEAN SPRINGS, MS (WLOX) -

This Saturday, the Historic Ocean Springs Association will host its HO HO HOSA Cocktail Party at Lagniappe Restaurant from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. This year’s theme is “Good Cheer. Good Will. Great Evening. Great Cause.”

“We had such a great time at HO HO HOSA last year at Lagniappe, so we are excited about their hosting the event again this year,” said HOSA President Kathryn Shanks. “Lagniappe Chef Patsy Switzer has put together a special array of hors d’oeuvres for the cocktail party, including her signature shrimp jambalaya and her delicious seafood mornay in puff pastry cups. Patsy will treat us to some of her amazing desserts, too.”

The cocktail party is one of the largest fundraisers of the year for the HOSA, which has been donating money to public improvement projects for more than 26 years. Since its inception, the HOSA has donated more than $580,000 to the City of Ocean Springs.

If you want to attend, you need to act fast. There are only 100 tickets available for this year’s event.

“With only 100 tickets available, we hope to sell out so we encourage folks to call us to reserve their tickets today,” said Shanks.

Tickets are $30 per person. Order yours by calling Mickey Williams at 228-217-0421 or Melanie Allen at 228-872-0846.
