BILOXI, MS (WLOX) -

For the past 31 years, the Asgard Motorcycle Club has joined forces with other clubs and riders on Sunday for a chance to give back.

"We just enjoy giving back to the community. We enjoy being a part of the community and helping out," said member and Asgard co-founder, Smokey Stepputat.

Riders bring toys, clothes and food items to be donated to people in need. But, participation in the event isn't just limited to motorcycle riders. Stepputat says the group invites anyone who would like to join to jump in line.

The donations filled up a tractor trailer thanks to a team of volunteers like Bailee Grantham.

"I just like helping out. Especially if it's for a good cause," said Grantham.

The good cause will help supply toys, food and clothing to people through the Knights of Columbus, Catholic charities, the Salvation Army and several other organizations. Vice President of Asgard, Buff Grundy, says he loves to see the support that returns year after year.

Over the years Grundy has developed countless friendships and events like this serve as a reunion of sorts.

"It's nice to see old friends that we haven't seen for a year or so and just have a good time," said Grundy.

Organizers say there were more than 500 bikers in attendance from all across the coast. The event ended with a party at the Harley Davidson store in Biloxi.
