ST. MARTIN, MS (WLOX) -

Prostitution, money laundering and human trafficking. Those are among the crimes the Jackson County District Attorney says were happening at a business operating as a massage parlor in St. Martin.

District Attorney Tony Lawrence said federal, state and civil charges are proceeding against the two operators of JJ Spa on Washington Avenue.

Lawrence said a variety of organized criminal activity was taking place. The evidence indicates several Korean women lived at the business and were engaged in prostitution.

An affidavit from sheriff’s department Investigator Jeff Smith says he was provided with online posts from Exotic MP and Rub Maps indicating multiple sexual acts by multiple providers at JJ Spa as recently as June 29, 2015. Several individuals posted to these web sites saying they received oral and vaginal sex at JJ Spa from providers named Hanna and Heaven.

The affidavit, filed in support of a motion to close the business, also talks about the surveillance of the business and investigators observing numerous males in different vehicles coming and going from the spa. Each would enter through the front door and leave the same way about an hour later, consistent with posts provided to the investigator on the web sites.

When the search warrant was executed at JJ Spa, officers received information that a sex act had occurred just prior to them entering the building and that sex acts between the female employees and male patrons were imminent at the time of the raid.

The affidavit says, “Officers noted a naked male on a massage parlor table, and the female was in the process of undressing when officers entered. Officers obtained statements from individuals present that sex acts had occurred. Further, officers located numerous condoms and other sex related items, phone numbers, client lists and arrangements on premises which obviously demonstrated several Korean women were living on site.”
