Vacant building at Coca Cola plantation engulfed in flames overnight

BAY ST. LOUIS, MS (WLOX) -

Another building at the old Coca Cola Plantation in Bay St. Louis went up in flames early Friday morning. Bay St. Louis Fire Chief Pam San Fillippo confirmed to WLOX News a call came in around 5 a.m. that one of the structures at the property was on fire.

When fire crews arrived, the vacant building was engulfed in flames. The chief says her crews have the flames under control and it’s almost out now.

There's no word at this time on what caused the blaze.

You may recall, it was just over a year ago when another vacant building at the same property caught on fire.

WLOX News has a crew at the scene now. Look for updates on air and online.
