Officials say a 15-year-old student has been arrested and charged with making a false report of a bomb or explosive device in connection with a threat that evacuated D'Iberville High School for 30 minutes on Thursday.

According to Harrison County School District Superintendent Henry Arledge, someone wrote a message on a bathroom wall that said “bombing school” with Thursday's date.

Police searched the building with a bomb sniffing dog, and the search turned up clear.

At the time of the evacuation, Arledge told WLOX News that authorities were working to track down who wrote the message, and that security cameras at the school would be utilized as part of the investigation.

“They will catch who did it before long, and someone will have to be arrested,” said Arledge.
