JACKSON COUNTY, MS (WLOX) - Troy Ross has come out on top in the race for Jackson County Supervisor District 4. The incumbent beat out challengers Sean Alawine and David Venus to retain his seat.
In the race for District 5 Supervisor, Randy Bosarge won in a landslide over Allen Williams and Jeffrey Knight by taking 76 percent of the vote.
The board is facing a major shakeup that could stem from the backlash of the Singing River Health System pension fund debacle.
Incumbent candidates John McKay and Mike Mangum were voted out during the primary election in August. Board president Barry Cumbest ran unopposed Tuesday, so he will return to the board.
Also in Jackson County, Calvin Hutchins defeated Christopher Broome in the Constable 2 race, and incumbent Shane Langfitt defeated challenger Vernon Gazzo to win the Constable 3 race.
