JACKSON COUNTY, MS (WLOX) - The DMR, Mississippi Department of Wildlife Fisheries and Parks, along with dozens of volunteers are gathered at Point Park in Pascagoula. They are coordinating another day of searching area waters for plane wreckage and the three men aboard that plane when it went down Monday.
Volunteer Pac Brian has specialized equipment to help with the search. The Louisiana man has more than $100,000 worth of sonar equipment aboard his vessel. He has helped with other searches in the past and is anxious to do whatever he can to help bring some closure to the families.
The search effort has moved eastward the past few days. The area near Round Island is among the search areas Friday, but the effort still involves a large area of coastal waters and marshland.
