Time now to sign up for Toys For Tots in Hancock County

HANCOCK COUNTY, MS (WLOX) -

Christmas is a little more than two months away, but if you are in need of a little help to make your child's Christmas merry, now is the time to sign up in Hancock County for Toys for Tots. 

Registration for toy requests opened Tuesday at the Hancock County Resource Center located at 308 Highway 90, Suite D in Waveland. Registration is open only from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.  

Only children 0 to 12 years old can be signed up for Toys For Tots. To register your child you must bring all of the following documents to registration.  You need a valid state issued state photo ID, birth certificate for each child, guardianship/custody documentation required if you are not listed on birth certificate and proof of income: SNAP award letter, Tanif award letter, utility allowance, section 8 paperwork, or proof of expenses (rent, utilities, car notes, loans, and other bills).

Registration for Toys For Tots ends in Hancock County at 4 p.m. on Thursday, October 29th.
