Two FL men sentenced in drug conspiracy case

GULFPORT, MS (WLOX) -

Two Jacksonville, FL, men who pleaded guilty to drug conspiracy charges earlier this year learned their fate in federal court Tuesday.

Judge Sul Ozerden sentenced Herman McGee, Jr., 27, to 14 years in prison followed by five years of probation for conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute cocaine and conspiracy to possess firearms in furtherance of drug trafficking. McGee will also have to pay an $8,000 fine.

Ozerden sentenced Michael Lamar Ricks, 27, to 112 months in prison followed by five years of probation for conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute cocaine. Ricks will also have to pay an $8,000 fine.
