In 8 games, Keishaun Pullom has ripped off 1,113 yards rushing with ten touchdowns. The 5-10, 165 pound senior has averaged 8.2 yards per carry.
In Friday's 31-27 win over Vancleave, Pullom rushed for 288 yards with a touchdown. He blocked a field goal and two extra points and on he intercepted a pass on defense.
Pullom is the WLOX Friday Night Football Showdown Player of the Week.
Pullom said, "I've been playing since I was little, since I could walk. I just come out here everyday playing my best. I just know what I have to do and I know I have a line fighting for me, playing in front of me and everything I do is because of them."
Bay High head coach Jeff Hopgood said, "All four years he's been a starter. He gets better each year. Great attitude, great work ethic."
Pullom also excels on kick off returns, he's netting just over 29 yards a return, capable of going the distance every time he gets his hands on the pigskin.
Pullom will be a key weapon Friday night when the Tigers entertain East Central in a Region 8-4A Showdown...one of six games that will be featured on the Friday Night Football Showdown.
