BILOXI, MS (WLOX) -

A hybrid Ford wagon was turning heads at Wednesday's block party in Biloxi.

Steve Keller, a cruiser from Maryland, drives his antique Ford nearly 1,100 miles to Cruisin' the Coast. The vehicle is pieced together from six different classic cars.

"It's a 1956 Ford Parklane Wagon," said Keller. "I took the roof and windshield off the wagon and put on the front half of a '55 Crown Victoria roof, windshield and door. The back cab panel is out of a '64 Ford pickup truck. To change the angle of the panel is the upper portion of a '59 Ford quarter panel turned upside down. The side rails are stainless steel off of a '57 Ranchero."

Keller enjoys showing the wagon's admirers a photo album he compiled to chronicle the vehicle's transformation from its original appearance to its current look.

Keller said what he loves most about his Parklane is that he only paid $200 for it at a junkyard in 1985 and that it's fun to take for a spin.

"I've driven it down here twice," he said. "And I enjoy it."
